Celebrating our Next Quarter Century

The Franklin College unveiled our new sub brand rollout at a celebration event Monday, Jan. 27 at Sanford Stadium, Celebrating our Next Quarter Century.

The celebration marked a new chapter in the Franklin branding, reputation, and recognition initiative, with a briefing by Dean Stenport on the college's 18-month collaboration with the research and marketing firm Simpson Scarborough, the debut of the new community mark for Franklin and multiple elements of the new Franklin sub brand identity. Faculty and staff took part in the fun, answering questions about the college and receiving promotional items branded with the new system. The college heard from the student team at the Talking Dog Agency, engaged in building student support and enthusiasm for the new sub brand, and enjoyed taking photos in the Dawgs' dressing room and in the West end zone of the stadium.

In tandem with Monday's college-wide celebration, Franklin College Dean Anna Stenport convened the first meeting of the Franklin College Innovation Council, who met to discuss plans and progress on building an ecosystem of innovation, the new Franklin College Innovation Initiative:

The Franklin College Innovation Initiative aims to empower students and faculty across multiple disciplines to embrace creativity, collaboration, entrepreneurship, research and leadership as integral parts of their academic journey. The results—unparalleled academic excellence coupled with entrepreneurial, career-focused programs with real-world applications enabling student engagement with successful alumni and world-renowned faculty, thus elevating student confidence and career outcome, post-graduation.
