The work of Mark Abbe, professor of ancient art in the Lamar Dodd School of Art, is featured in Archeology magazine

“Brown ocean” can fuel inland tropical cyclones – Several reports on a newly-defined type of inland tropical cyclone that maintains or increases strength after landfall, according to NASA-funded research by graduate student Theresa Anderson and geography professor J. Marshall Shepherd of the University of Georgia.
