The 15th annual Global Educational Forum on sport during pandemic times serves as a platform to embrace and celebrate diversity in research, teaching, and service across the University of Georgia. This year’s conference remains consistent with the College of Education Department of Kinesiology’s missions, as well as UGA’s mission. The 2021 virtual Global Educational Forum features distinguished Mary Frances Early College of Education alumni working in the areas of sport and education in Georgia and prominent speakers employed in institutions of higher education.
The COVID-19 pandemic has had a multidimensional impact on worldwide sport businesses, sport organizations, the diverse experiences of sport participants, and individuals across continents. In this year’s virtual edition, scholars and practitioners will share their scholarship and practical experiences connected to the ongoing pandemic, which has revolutionized not only the way people live, but also the way they relate and play sports, as well as do sport business activities.
