
The University Philharmonia will perform first concert of the season on Friday, October 5th at 7:30 p.m. in Hodgson Hall. Conducted by Jean Gomez, a graduate assistant conductor in orchestral conducting, the ensemble will perform works by Igor Stravinsky and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
As one of the Hugh Hodgson School of Music's large orchestral ensembles, the University Philharmonia offers an outlet for musical expression to all string players at the University of Georgia.
This concert is presented admission-free.
