Antonio Vivaldi’s four concertos, known as The Four Seasons, are among the world’s best-loved compositions. Each concerto represents one of of the four seasons of the year. The plucked strings in “Winter” suggest the cold rain. There is a thunderstorm in “Summer,” and even a barking dog in “Spring.” The ASO’s associate concertmaster Justin Bruns will be the violin soloist.
