Visual artist Jeff Rich received his master's of fine art degree in photography from the Savannah College of Art and Design. His current work focuses on ecology, politics, economics, recreation and the environment through photography of watersheds. His project “Watershed: A Survey of The French Broad River” was awarded the 2010 Critical Mass Book Award and was published as a monograph in 2012. His work has been featured in Fraction magazine and Photo-Eye Photographer’s Showcase. In spring 2017, Fall Line Press will publish his second book, "Watershed: The Tennessee River." This lecture is cosponsored by the Georgia Museum of Art, the Lamar Dodd School of Art, Watershed UGA and the UGA Office of Sustainability.
