Performing Arts Center, Ramsey Concert Hall
The Georgia Woodwind Quintet, the faculty woodwind quintet at the Hugh Hodgson School of Music, will perform its first concert of 2016.
The Georgia Woodwind Quintet is a resident faculty ensemble in the UGA Hugh Hodgson School of Music. Since its founding in 1967, the quintet has maintained an active schedule performing woodwind chamber music from the early quintets of Danzi and Reicha to 20th-century compositions.
This concert will be the quintet's first of 2016 and is free and open to the public.
