Alan Flurry is a writer and producer for the Franklin College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Georgia, where he creates narrative video and text covering a wide range of activity in UGA's oldest and largest college. In February 2012, the Franklin College launched The Franklin Chronicles, a newsblog written primarily by Flurry. His 2012 hour-long documentary ARCO in Venice, featuring the ARCO Chamber Orchestra from the Hodgson School of Music and its performance at a UNESCO concert in Italy, was awarded WUGA-TV's first GABBY award by the Georgia Association of Broadcasters. He serves as host of Unscripted with Alan Flurry on WUGA-TV, a 30-minute interview show wherein Flurry interviews distinguished guests to the UGA campus.
