In addition to this great news, our alums continue to shine elsewhere on stage and screen:
Jamie Hyder (BA Theatre, 2007) is playing a leading role in the TV crime drama Graceland. Tiffany Hobbs ('09) has recently gone on tour with the hit Broadway musical, The Lion King. And Matt Zuk ('10) has a role in Sony's upcoming feature, The Fifth Wave.
Outstanding accomplishments for these hard-working graduates, our wonderful theatre program and the university. Preparing these actors and creative back stage artists for success in this hypercompetitive profession is something we don't recognize often enough. But UGA is represented far beyond proportion in the dramatic entertainment fields and that is directly due to the people teaching here and the students coming here to learn from them. Let everybody know. And get your tickets for this year's season today - who knows what future stars you might see.
